We at Muskaan practice leading by example and approach all of its endeavors with integrity and transparency. Never losing focus on the underprivileged, we strive to be courageous in seeking innovative solutions with commitment to equity and sustainability.
Muskaan itself is a social innovation and the founder is working as a social entrepreneur. Just as entrepreneurs change the face of business, she acts as the change agent for society, seizing opportunities others miss and improving systems, inventing new approaches and creating sustainable solutions to change society for the better. All our programs have potential to reduce economic disparities, increase opportunities for the disadvantaged, promote healthy communities, and increase the interpersonal and intercultural understanding that is the foundation for peace.

Our Objectives
1. To promote holistic development of adolescents and youth by providing them with learning opportunities in creative ways and by mentoring them in life skills to inculcate values, self esteem, self dependance and social responsibility.
2. To promote civic engagement by promoting “giving” and "volunteering" in cross sections of society.

Few individuals choose to walk away at the height of their career to dedicate their life to a social cause. Such is the story of Muskaan's founder - Vibha - who left her job with Johns Hopkins University to build her own non profit organization. It is born out of 18 years of her work experience with Indian/international development agencies, her compassion and inner calling. |
